The great thing about having so much channelled information is that we get to hear the same information in many different ways, and sometimes a particular way of saying something hits us powerfully because that particular formulation is exactly how we need to hear it at the moment.
This hit me so powerfully, I just had to share these words from Esther Hicks/Abraham:
When you focus upon a subject or situation and you feel bad, it is not the subject or the situation that is the reason for your bad feeling. You feel bad because the thoughts have caused a vibrational separation in you. In other words, you have chosen to give your attention to something that the Source within you is not giving attention to.
Did you hear that? You have chosen to give your attention to something that the Source within – your God-Self, your Spirit – is not giving attention to.
Every contrasting experience causes an expansion of who you are because the larger Non-Physical part of you always moves to that point of farthest expansion. But if you continue to look back to the events or circumstances or reasons that caused the expansion, you then hold yourself in opposition to the very expansion. You disallow it, and you feel bad.
The art of allowing is simply your allowing yourself, by virtue of your deliberately chosen thoughts, to keep up with the expansion of yourself. If you are to be happy, you have no other choice but to keep up.”
It’s “You with you”.
I’ve just completed a month-long spiritual intuitive Tarot intensive, and what came up for me in terms of what my Spirit has been bringing to my awareness is the archetype of the Hierophant as representing union (see Rider Waite Smith imagery). The Hierophant brings us the awareness of sacred marriage within: “Hieros Gamos” – the alchemy of the harmonization of polar opposites.
After the Magician and the High Priestess, and the Empress and the Emperor, the Hierophant brings these polarities into a relationship, and ‘presides over’ the next trump, the Lovers, indicating a healing merger has taken place. There is Hieros Gamos first at the individual level – the Hierophant, and then Hieros Gamos in our relationship with another – the Lovers. When we have healed the vibrational rifts within – the illusion of our masculine/feminine and our physical/non-physical selves as being ‘separate’, we are able to live a life of far more ease and joy. Our “bad feelings” call our attention to the Hierophant and Inner Teacher within us which urges us to bring to solution these vibrational rifts/separations, to be in sacred marriage to ourselves – “You with you”; the Source within us unified with our Conscious Thought.
When we fixate on the challenging or difficult circumstances which participate in moving us in the direction of our expansion, rather than shift our attention to our expansion itself, we hold ourselves in a vibrational rift. When we allow our thoughts to prevent us from keeping up with the expansion of our beings as directed by our Source-Selves, we hold ourselves in a vibrational rift. If we are to be happy, as Abraham has said, we must “keep up”, we must merge with our Self in intimate, sacred union.
With love
