I have been meditating a lot on the Two of Pentacles as it has been showing up in my Tarot readings lately. I have also found that the themes of this card have been cropping up in situations around me, so I’ve been paying attention. As my mum and I chatted last Sunday, I felt compelled to fish this card out of my deck while she was mid-sentence. We ruminated on the meaning.
Avia Venefica’s assessment of the Two of Pentacles entirely resonates with the manner in which I personally come to this card:
The Two of Pentacles purposefully reveals an ethereal quality. We see this in the water waves that undulate in the background. Further, we see the prominent lemniscate wrapped around the Pentacles. The physicality of pentacles juxtaposed with the more intangibles of water and infinite is a clear message of combination and unification on an energetic level.
As I (rather synchronistically) also read the Metatron channelled message “Crystalline Keys of the Law of One” this past weekend, Metatron’s directive immediately struck me as a key message of the Two of Pentacles: we are, as a collective, “to be able to maintain a greater balance in the requisites of beta and the dreaming creatorship of theta.” Two suggests balance and the need for integration, while the realms of ‘beta’ and ‘theta’ are brought together in the juxtaposition of the pentacles and the water.
It is time to seek the divine, to seek theta, while maintaining grounding in beta…both can be harmonized. And in such harmony you will discover the ability of co-creation within the earthplane. Mind is the Builder.
Mind – theta consciousness – is the builder in the co-creative process, mind builds form. Thought creates reality. Being present with the requisites of beta, while maintaining the dreaming co-creatorship of theta is the key to conscious creation. The Two of Pentacles provides a wonderful gateway to this greater realization.
